Face Wipes Video - https://youtu.be/0Et1A54Vehw

Although i do like to make my own face wipes, i haven't found a very travel friendly way of bringing them with me so i still try store-bought ones from time to time. These Glacial Cleansing Cloths might be the closest thing to washing your face that the face wipe world has to offer.

Somehow the folks at Skyn Iceland have created a face wipe that foams, doesn't need to be rinsed and doesn't dry your skin out. I'm not sure how they managed that, but i like it!

The light foaming helps to remove so much more makeup with no irritation or redness after and my skin doesn't feel immediately parched. Its one of the freshest feelings i've had from a facewipe.

Theres "slip" to them so they easily remove eye makeup with minimal rubbing and no residue, but they do also offer eye makeup wipes in the same range.

All in all a great cleansing cloth for times when you really wish you could properly wash your face or for anyone who usually gets mild irritation from face wipes!

I also reviewed their sheet masks here.

Whether you've just had a spray tan, can't shower due to injury or surgery, are camping, are lazy... or are just interested; i wanted to share with you something i've perfected over the years- The Waterless Cleanse.

I've come up with a few different versions of this after not wanting to splash my face with water through fear of getting splash marks on my body after a semi-fresh spray tan and also from traveling so much and not always having access to a sink.

The Wipe-Only Waterless Cleanse

Some of you might already do this and wonder why i'm overcomplicating things but i never feel like my face is totally clean after using just 1 wipe alone so heres the deal...

The first wipe i use is always something with a little slip to it so it wipes away eye makeup easily and breaks down the rest of your makeup too. ELF Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths are great for this and super inexpensive.

The second wipe i use it something a little more astringent and more of a treatment wipe. Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Wipes are perfect because they remove any residual makeup and leave your skin feeling exfoliated, toned and pleasantly tight.

The Balm Waterless Cleanse

This version is perfect to clean your face and give yourself a mini massage at the same time.

One Love Organics Skin Savior Balm along with their New Best Friend Skin Shammy are the perfect pairing to remove all makeup in a gentle, effective, scrumptious manner.
I just massage a glob of the balm into my face and wipe away the grime with the skin shammy. E voila, waterless makeup removal at its finest.

The Oil & Water Waterless Cleanse

For this lazy-girl face washing variation i start with some NUDE Cleansing Oil on a cotton pad to remove any stubborn eye makeup or lash glue, i repeat this step on a new pad for the rest of my face makeup. This stuff will remove even the craziest, thickest stage makeup with ease.

I then follow up with a slightly more astringent, yet still gentle cleansing lotion (which isn't a lotion at all, its a cleansing water or toner) to remove any last traces of makeup or oil residue. My skin is left clean, toned and distinctly refreshed and cucumbery!
