Ever since mentioning Zeal in my January favorites video, i've had lots of questions about what this bad boy has to offer. Now you can find out for yourself!

I've seen this gorgeous packaging floating around online for a while now so when the opportunity arose to slather myself in it, i jumped in... hands first.






















Ellovi offer a range of body butters and lip balms each made of 6 pure ingredients safe enough to eat. There are never any nasty preservatives involved, just concentrated food for the skin.

The consistency of this little power house is somewhere between a light balm and gel thats been whipped into this gorgeous texture that just glides onto the skin. Although it leaves a hydrated glow behind, theres very little residue which i love because nobody wants to feel like a slimy goddess.

Its also gorgeous to apply right out of the bath or shower while you're still damp or even applied to dry patches prior to hot showers to prevent any further drying. I always think you can tell when your skin loved a product because it just laps it up without feeling parched again immediately after and this certainly fits the bill for me.

This would be awesome for travelers or multi-purpose product lovers because past just being an awesome body/hand balm, you can also remove your makeup with it, use it as a night time facial treatment and even boasts a natural SPF.

Definitely a new favorite for me and i might have to grab a couple of their other scents (vanilla, mint choc and blossom) so i can have one in every room of the house. 


On to the lip balms...

First of all, any brand who offers a bundle of vegan lip balms is already a winner in my eyes because i do like to always have lip balms in arms reach at any given moment. Not only do i appreciate having a tin full of lip balms but the lasting hydration this bestows on my lips is just amazing.

You may have already seen my tweet declaring my love for the tinted balm but i think its worth mentioning again, i just love it that much. Most tinted balms i find either not hydrating enough or they leave a weird "post spaghetti eating" tint of red around my mouth. This one, however, is super hydrating and gives just the right amount of tint to my lips meaning i feel fabulous wearing that and not much else.

Don't get me wrong, the other lip balms are gorgeous too and each have their own delicious scent/flavor to them and i love that they offer a cute little bundle that lets you try all 4! 

The case itself is awesome to put your essentials in and throw in your purse; i have a hair tie, lip balm, store cards and other bits and bobs in mine.

Blue Labelle were one of the brands you guys mentioned on my Instagram when i mentioned what i had planned for #worldveganmonth so i had to give them a go! Hand blended in beautiful Isle Of Wight, i knew these would be something special.


Not only were Blue Labelle generous enough to send me product to try but they also sent one of their beautifully soft, organic hemp cloths to try. Used along with their Petitgrain and Tamanu Cleansing Oil and Moringa and Raspberry Seed Facial Oil, it turned out to be all i needed for makeup removal and toned, nourished skin.

With several blend options to choose from, their oils should suit most skin concerns (find out more about their ingredients here). After explaining my skin type and issues to them, they recommended the two shown above.

Cleansing Oil
This was beautifully suited to my combo/oily skin, the Petitgrain works as a mild astringent that also balances and the Tamanu helps promote clearer skin. With loads of other clarifying, nourishing ingredients, this is the perfect oil for anyone with troublesome skin who's been nervous of oil cleansing.

In short, oil cleansing is an awesome way of removing makeup and cleansing the skin with only an oil. I massage a few drops into dry skin, concentrating on areas with the most makeup, until the makeup is emulsified and smeared around your face. Then use a hot, damp wash cloth to wipe the oil away, rinsing the cloth in between each time until all of the oil and makeup has been removed.


Facial Oil
Their facial oil is the perfect accompaniment to the cleansing oil and with just a few drops, my skin felt nourished and quenched without any residue. This blend in particular is awesome for anyone who struggles with oily skin and anti-aging and finds it hard to balance both.

Applying facial oil is very easy and you need only 1 or 2 pumps for the entire face. Rubbing it between your hands to warm up the oil makes it sink in to the skin quickly and means you don't have to rub the skin of your face.


Hemp Cloth
Soft, strong and eco-friendly... its the ultimate washcloth. Soaked in a little warm/hot water prior to use and it becomes so soft and perfect for the face with just enough texture to lightly exfoliate.

Just wash after every few uses with a gentle detergent and hang dry!

I've been a fan of Butter London polishes in the past after acquiring some minis so when a lovely lady from their team emailed me to see if i'd like to try some of their vegan polishes... the answer was obvious.



Their entire Patent Shine collection is vegan as well as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide and xylene free.

Now, i'm no chemist and don't know what half of those are but i do like to go by the rule that if you can't pronounce it, you don't wanna wear or eat it.


I featured the nude color, Shop Girl, in last week's #manimonday but thought i'd do swatches for each since i know how much i rely on swatches when picking out colors. The swatch images are untouched so you get a clear idea of the true color and they're taken out of direct sunlight.

I used 2 coats of each.

The formula of these isn't like any i've used before... its somewhere between a gel and polish and applies like any other regular polish.

The problem i have with non-gel polish usually is that, once dry, it becomes fragile and due to natural movement in the nail itself, they chip and peel. I had none of this with these polishes because they seemed to move with my nail and remain softer even though they were hard-wearing.

So onto the fun stuff, Butter London wanted to share the love with you guys too so they sent another 2 sets of these 4 beautiful polishes for me to give away to you!

"WIMTB?", you ask?

What's in my travel bag!

First off, i wanna point out that not all of these products are necessarily cruelty free or vegan (although the majority are), but most are samples i'm trying to use up.

More than anything i just wanted to give you some ideas of things you could possibly ever need when traveling because i've really figured that out over the years from forgetting things.



Face products:
  • Face wipes- Great for obvious purposes but also work well for desperate times when you need a face-wipe, full-body shower.
  • Osea Eye & Lip- 2 products in 1, what more can i say? (Osea review here)
  • Osea Ocean Cleanser- A perfect little cleanser for my combo skin thats a little stronger than the OLO cleanser. 
  • Klorane Eye Makeup Remover- I HATE sleeping with eye makeup on so i can't go without. This one happened to be fairly natural and small so... in it goes.
  • Tea Tree Oil- So many purposes in one tiny bottle.
  • Mini Foreo Face Scrubber/ Vibrator- Much smaller than a clarisonic but not quite as scrubby.
  • Decanting Spray Bottle of Glycolic Toner- My skin always seems to suffer from traveling so its nice to have it feeling fresh and new again.
  • Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream- Can't live without this any more, check the review linked above.
  • Osea Red Algae Mask Sample- I love this mask and i love minis.
  • One Love Organics Easy Does It Cleanser- This is a wonder product. Works just as well to clean face/remove makeup, clean hair and body. Sometimes i just take this for my face but i wanted to give the Osea a bit more of a try.
  • Rose Hips Oil- A wonder oil for distressed skin.
  • SPF Lipbalm- I've needed this SO many times!
  • Tweezers
  • Q-Tips




Hair Products:
  • Mini Hair Straightener- Not the best flat iron but saves a lot of room!
  • Wide Tooth Comb- For that post-shower mop.
  • Fine Tooth/ Teasing Comb- I use this with the flat iron or for volume.
  • DermOrganic Hairspray, Conditioning Shampoo, Masque, Treatment Oil- These minis cover most of my hair needs and are easily available at Ulta.
  • Heat Protection Spray Sample- I don't love this but wanted to use it up.
  • Dry Shampoo- 'cause i am lazy.
  • Hair Texturizing Spray Sample- Again, not a favorite but a little guy perfect to bring along.
  • Heat Protection Mat- Because i don't want to burn shit.




Body Products:
  • Body Scrubber- I just got this at our local coop and thought it was a great, quick drying version of a loofah or pouf. I can't miss my body exfoliation!
  • Probiotics- Because my stomach is still suffering.
  • Pacifica Body Lotion- The perfect little luxurious body butter.
  • Dollar Shave Club Razor (affiliate link here)- Realistically it takes up the same room as a travel/mini razor and works better so...
  • SPF Spray
  • Fig + Yarrow Underarm Lotion- Its smaller than my deodorant, a little strange to apply but works really well.
  • One Love Organics Easy Does It Cleanser- One of the only body soaps that doesn't dry out my skin and works on EVERYTHING.




Mouth Products:
  • Beaming White Remineralizing & Teeth Whitening Pens (affiliate 80% discount code: WIFE80)- Gotta keep these bad boys white.
  • Mouthwash- Just whichever mini i could find, recommendations below.
  • Toothpaste- See above.
  • Toothbrush- Adam has my electric toothbrush with him and my head for it so this is just a backup in case Adam leaves me toothbrushless.
  • Flossy Things




Random Bits & Alternatives:
  • Cotton Pads- For eye makeup removal or toner use.
  • Nail Glue/ Superglue- You'd be surprised how many times i've needed this.
  • Pura D'Or Argan Oil- This works for face, body and hair too. Great if you're tight on space.
  • Diamancel no.1 File- Works on natural or gel nails really well, i'm never without it.
  • Contact Lens Solution- Because my eyes suck even though i wear daily contacts... shit, forgot those!
  • ELF Nail Polish Remover Rounds- Perfect for a quick change!
  • Mini Chocolate Raspberry Candle- Seemed cute.
  • Mini Self Tanning Lotion
  • Clear OCC Nail Polish- So many more uses than just for your nails!
  • Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Wipes- My crappy skin rescue.
  • Dr Bronners Soap- Again, works on hair, body and the kitchen sink.
  • Mini Scissors- Nails, fake eyelashes, threads on clothes...



And this is it all packed in! I really love this Sonia Kashuk bag and its TARDIS-like properties never cease to amaze me.

  • Great size for all of your essentials and you can pack it to the brim!
  • Good quality zippers and hardwear.
  • Strap and handles are well made and not uncomfortable. Long strap is adjustable.
  • The "leather" is probably some of the most realistic i've seen. Soft, strong and beautifully stitched!

Odessa Bag in Black
  • Great size for handbag hoarders! You can fit at least 3000 lip products in here ;)
  • Made up of different textured "leathers" that compliment each other nicely.
  • Lots of pockets and zipped areas.
  • "Leather" is soft and slouchy with just enough structure.
  • Adjustable long shoulder strap and nice handles as before.

Sheena in Grey
  • Perfect Chanel alternative for designer lovers with a conscience.
  • Ultra long chain strap.
  • Very structured so i imagine it would wear very well.
  • Knot the strap if you want it shorter.
  • Stitching is all incredibly well done.
Krystyna in Dove Grey- $45
  • Full size women's wallet with plenty of compartments.
  • 8 card slots, interior zipped pocket and external zipped pocket.
  • Fits giant phones in like my iPhone 6+
  • I love the contrast zip detailing and zips all work smoothly.
Trenton in Black- $50
  • Same compartments as the Krystyna minus the outside zipped pocket.
  • Gold edging and zips.
  • I think this is big enough and enough of a statement piece that you could use it as a clutch.
  • I'd also 100% believe this was designer.


Although leather isn't always easy to avoid, Urban Expressions makes it very easy to do so!
I know some people have had concerns about faux leathers not breaking down/ biodegrading and how bad for the environment that is, well it seems Urban Expressions have thought of that, too.
