I was recently restocking our guest bathroom with some new products and figured i'd share another awesome brand with you, Green People!

The brand are UK based but have US, UK and Danish online storefronts, you can read more about their international shipping here.

Dubbed as the UK's most loved organic beauty brand, i had to share with you guys as MANY of you ask about UK brand recommendations. Not only are Green People Logical Harmony approved but they have a huge selection of vegan products ranging from hair care, suncare, mens and gift sets so perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

Have any of you tried Green People's products? If so, let me know what you thought of them below.

For the people who think natural and organic skincare doesn't work- you might be wrong.

I've used Uma Oil's Total Rejuvenation Night Oil for a while now and have mentioned how incredibly luxurious and soothing it is, especially when my skin really needs some TLC.

While chatting with Uma... well, Shrankhla but y'know... i mentioned that i'd been having some breakouts and badly behaved skin that i suspected was partly hormonal and partly due to travel and they recommended their Deeply Clarifying Face Oil and said they'd throw in some samples of their Calm & Bliss Wellness Oils also.

When i returned from the UK my oils were there waiting for me and i couldn't wait to give them a go!

You might not always think of oils as being helpful for breakouts or, well... oily skin but thats just because modern skincare has taught us to strip the crap out of our skin.

I've used this oil consistently at night for 2 or 3 weeks now and my skin has greatly improved. Applied over freshly cleansed and toned skin (check my skincare video if you need suggestions), i just press the warmed oil into my face using the palms of my hands. Any leftover i just rub it into the backs of my hands and off i go to bed. I've also combined it with a drop of their Total Rejuvenation Night Oil at times.

Not only have breakouts and their stubborn red marks cleared up and faded but i've found my skin just seems much more capable of purging itself of any nasties without creating huge zits as it goes.

The other way i like to use this is to press a couple of drops into my t zone where i have blocked pores and massage the area for a couple of minutes. I then get into a hot shower but avoid getting my face wet. Once i'm amply steamed, i get out of the shower and use a facial tissue to... yep, do some extractions. Any blocked pores just sort of "give up" whats lurking in them and i don't have to squeeze, just apply pressure with fingers and roll them into one another.

So not only do the natural antibacterial ingredients in this help clear up and treat breakouts but it also hydrates your skin, meaning it can regular its sebum production easier. For anyone who has the ultimate dreaded combo of breakout prone and dry skin, this is definitely worth a shot!

Truly, i wish that i'd had this growing up instead of trying out every drying awful product for hormonal breakouts. This oil blend just makes you skin much more capable of being.

Although i had used their Rejuvenating Night Oil for a while and mentioned that i swore it helped me sleep deeper, it wasn't until i tried their Wellness Oils that my interest in aromatherapy and Ayurveda was peeked.

Unlike their facial oils, their wellness oils are more-so designed for use on the body as well as in baths or diffusers. I love applying a drop or two of this into my palms, pressing them together to warm the oil and then inhaling deeply into them, closing my hands in between inhalations. I love doing it this way because i swear you get a different scent and experience with each inhale.

Theres definitely an element of smoke about this oil which i've always found to be such a warm, grounding scent (i'm talking nice smokey, not cigarette smoke). With lavender and chamomile, this is about as calming as you can get and i plan on trying this the next time i'm experiencing deep anxiety.

Used the same as the Calm Oil, i found this scent to be more fresh and revitalizing with hints of lemon which i always love!

I think this is beautiful for a late afternoon stress melter or pick me up and i do plan on mixing a drop of this with the Calm Oil for moments of anxiety or panic.

I definitely want to learn more about using oils and aromatherapy so leave any interesting tidbits you might know below!

Maybe some of you are getting bored of all the skincare posts i've been making but i know a lot of you are just as big skincare junkies as me soooo... allow me to continue enabling you.

I've had the pleasure of trying out some Thesis products lately so thought i'd share my thoughts and also mayyybe theres a little giveaway going on, i couldn't possibly say.

Thesis is a line of eco-friendly and vegan skincare, hair care and candles made with the purest botanical ingredients. The first time i smelled their rosemary & citrus makeup remover, i knew we might fall in love.

When i'm trying out new skincare, especially when its a full line of products, i like to use them in what i like to call "facial style".
"Well, obviously you'd use them on your face, Rhian..,", you might be thinking. What i mean, though is that i really take the time to use and apply the products similarly to how it feels when you go and pay for a facial. I like to follow the directions to a tee and really take my time. I think it gives me a better idea of the products as well as taking the extra time to do things properly makes it feel like a treat.

I started off with their makeup remover, per their instructions i moistened one of my Marley's Monsters bamboo rounds with a little water then used a pump of the makeup remover to start removing my eye makeup. It made really easy work of it since one of its main ingredients is jojoba oil which is what i'd usually use for eye makeup removal.

The other way that i used this was to rub it into a dry, made up face and then remove with a damp washcloth, oil cleaning style. Either way works beautifully and removes makeup gently and effectively without drying skin.

They also suggest you try dampening the cotton/bamboo pad with their toner before applying the makeup remover to your face and i LOVED this method. Something about their makeup remover/toner combo is just delightful. I think the toner alone would be an awesome option for anyone with very greasy skin or breakout-prone areas. I spritz a little on my face when i need a pick me up!

Next up was their foaming face wash, which might be my favorite of the lot. I used this in conjunction with my mini spinbrush and its silicone head. The combination of the two gave me that "just had a facial" glowing smooth skin that felt squeaky clean but not stripped. My pores appeared smaller and, god damn i felt great about my face after using it!

Although it is foaming, it doesn't contain any synthetics or harsh detergents so it harnesses the power of its organic ingredients without the downfall of them being suspended in chemicals to produce a foam. The foam is fairly fine and slinky and not really like anything i've used before.

I finished my at-home Thesis facial off with a pump of their face serum pressed into my skin and after a few nights of use i noticed it definitely helped relieve the dry skin around my nose i've had with this head-cold. It is for dry skin so i don't think i could use this regularly since i am greasy in areas but for times when my skin is dry and suffering, its perfect!

Now, like i mentioned, i do have a giveaway going on with Thesis right now where you can win my favorite product from them so head on over to my Instagram to enter if you're interested in trying out their yummy products!

Blue Labelle were one of the brands you guys mentioned on my Instagram when i mentioned what i had planned for #worldveganmonth so i had to give them a go! Hand blended in beautiful Isle Of Wight, i knew these would be something special.

Not only were Blue Labelle generous enough to send me product to try but they also sent one of their beautifully soft, organic hemp cloths to try. Used along with their Petitgrain and Tamanu Cleansing Oil and Moringa and Raspberry Seed Facial Oil, it turned out to be all i needed for makeup removal and toned, nourished skin.

With several blend options to choose from, their oils should suit most skin concerns (find out more about their ingredients here). After explaining my skin type and issues to them, they recommended the two shown above.

Cleansing Oil
This was beautifully suited to my combo/oily skin, the Petitgrain works as a mild astringent that also balances and the Tamanu helps promote clearer skin. With loads of other clarifying, nourishing ingredients, this is the perfect oil for anyone with troublesome skin who's been nervous of oil cleansing.

In short, oil cleansing is an awesome way of removing makeup and cleansing the skin with only an oil. I massage a few drops into dry skin, concentrating on areas with the most makeup, until the makeup is emulsified and smeared around your face. Then use a hot, damp wash cloth to wipe the oil away, rinsing the cloth in between each time until all of the oil and makeup has been removed.

Facial Oil
Their facial oil is the perfect accompaniment to the cleansing oil and with just a few drops, my skin felt nourished and quenched without any residue. This blend in particular is awesome for anyone who struggles with oily skin and anti-aging and finds it hard to balance both.

Applying facial oil is very easy and you need only 1 or 2 pumps for the entire face. Rubbing it between your hands to warm up the oil makes it sink in to the skin quickly and means you don't have to rub the skin of your face.

Hemp Cloth
Soft, strong and eco-friendly... its the ultimate washcloth. Soaked in a little warm/hot water prior to use and it becomes so soft and perfect for the face with just enough texture to lightly exfoliate.

Just wash after every few uses with a gentle detergent and hang dry!

Their website ships worldwide or you can find individual products via Rodales if you're in the US!

To win your own cleansing oil, facial oil and hemp cloth kit from Blue Labelle (of a $61 value), just check my Instagram for details- I think you'll love them too!
