Buying as a vegan or for a vegan can be tough sometimes, so allow me to introduce you to my secret weapon, Petit Vour.

Many of you have probably heard me talk about their subscription boxes or seen one of my haul videos but for those unaware, Petit Vour are a vegan cruelty free hub for all things beauty and lifestyle.

They carry such a wide range of products at all different price points so they're the perfect place to go for gifting ideas. I've shared my top picks in 3 price ranges below to give you some ideas...

$20 and under

100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask - $7 : These are the perfect stocking stuffer or reward treat (y'know, for all those awesome gifts you've picked for your loved ones) and a staple fix for all things in my house. Power out? Bright Eyes. Election stress? Bright Eyes. One too many mulled wines? Bright Eyes.
They are formulated to help depuff, brighten and hydrate and i love keeping a couple in the fridge for any such emergencies. (pictured)

Ellovi Lip Butter Collection - $18 : I don't think theres a single human out there who wouldn't benefit from a lip balm restock, especially for us Northern Hemisphere dwellers battling the winter dryness this season. Ellovi butters are nourishing, delicious and packaged in the most streamlined way. Perfect for lip balm lovers or a panicked secret santa option!

Rifle Paper Co Travel Journal - $15 : This is the perfect little gift for the avid traveler in your life or someone who is about to embark on a new life in a far away land. They also have regular journal options and some gorgeous wrapping sets.

$20 - $35

Little River Sock Mill Socks - $15 - $25 : I know some people dread receiving socks but theres not much i enjoy more and i can't be the only one who feels this way... right? Little River have lots of different prints and styles from footies to knee-highs and are all made right here in the USA. (pictured)

Moon Juice Power Dust - $30 : Many of us know (or maybe are) that person who drinks endless coffee but never quite gets what they want from it, so why not encourage trying something new by gifting them some Power Dust? Moon Juice create lots of different powder blends targeted to different moods or organs and they taste delicious!

Widu Wooden Bristle Brush - $25 : Widu create handmade Italian brushes and combs designed not only to detangle that mop but also to massage your scalp. This little travel sized option comes in different colors and i'd have to say the robin egg blue is my favorite.

$35 - $50

Poetic Blend Ghost Oil - $50 : Most gothic skin care award goes to.... Ghost Oil! All joking aside, this is a truly gorgeous product and "ghost oil" is right, is really does vanish without a trace leaving your skin feeling perfectly happy and balanced. Whether you're buying this for the skin care fanatic in your life, or the perfectly curated human who lives for an Instagram flat-lay, this is a beautiful product both to give and receive. (pictured)

Osmia Himalayan Body Buff - $42 : A chic twist on the traditional gift of bath and body products, this scrub is a lovely way to keep your skin glowing all winter long.

Lite + Cycle Lavender Candle - $48 : Another gorgeous more traditional gift item is this pillar candle. It's lavender scent is perfectly soothing and relaxing for anyone getting ready to embrace hibernation this winter!

Hopefully this gave you some gift ideas to work from but if you're still not sure, they also offer a Petit Vour gift card and they have a wonderful subscription box thats ideal for anyone embarking on a cruelty free or vegan journey and wants to try out lots of gorgeous new items every month.

Lets take a lil looky inside this month's Petit Vour vegan and cruelty free beauty box, i show you the items in the video as well as mini written reviews!

Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow
I'm super excited to add this to a future giveaway since i already have this product and even have a review on it you can check out if you'd like to.

Overall its a really convenient little contour and highlight palette with great shades in! I'm so stoked they included it in this months box and think a lot of people will LOVE it.

Formulary 55 Body Polish
I decided to mix mine with coconut oil as it suggested and it made a really nice scrub. The grains are fine and do a good job of exfoliating without being too scratchy and the oil added left me super moisturized.

The scent wasn't very strong at all but still fresh and soothing. I definitely think this would be a lovely treat once in a while or a nice little gift for your perpetually stressed out friend/family member.

True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil
I wasn't really sure this was something i'd love right away but applied after a hot bath and some toner, it left my skin feeling moisturized and firm. It didn't feel like traditional oils that can feel almost too slippery when applied and sunk in very quickly.

Definitely a great option if you want to try a facial oil but don't want to feel... oily.

Box Naturals Luxe Towelettes
Now, i'm very picky about wipes or towelettes and can't stand those flimsy ones you end up poking a finger through. Luckily, these are not like this; the towel itself is thicker, strong and stretchy as well as being a decent size!

Like i mentioned in the video, i'm not usually into products designed for "intimate use" not only because they can throw your delicate pH off balance but because i think its weird that some people feel shame about a very natural thing... body odor. I think thats why these appealed to me more because they can be used ANYWHERE but you know they're safe for your downstairs if needed!

Reading their website, i fell in love with the fact they identify as feminists and really want to celebrate that and i think thats a really refreshing thing for a company to state so freely.

These should all be available to buy in full sizes at their store soon so i'll update the individual products as soon as they are. In the meantime, you can sign up for your own Petit Vour subscription box here or check out their store here (be warned, theres LOTS of good stuff).

This month's box was all things sweet. Lets dive in!

Don't forget to check below for a discount if you're interested in the box.

True Love Red Nail Lacquer

Purchase supports CureCervicalCancer.org

Love Goodly's exclusive collab. color with LVX is just gorgeous.
The thin formula applies very smoothly and dries FAST. I'm definitely going to look into other LVX shades!

Apple Currant Muesli

Purchase supports CureCervicalCancer.org

Packed with super food ingredients and none of the extras, this is perfect for mornings when you don't have much time but need to fill up!

Tahitian Grapefruit Candle

Purchase supports FarmSanctuary.org

This candle's scent is sweet and girly but not sickly. I love this scent for a luxurious bath!

The grapefruit is fresh and bright while the vanilla gives a certain warmth- a great combination!

May Yeung Bracelet
(can't find it available separately)

I wish i could find this on the LG website but it must be sold out/not available separately.

I love this for a simple accessory alone or stacked with your other favorites!

If you're interested in receiving a Love Goodly subscription box of your own or need a gift idea, you can use the code RHIANLOVE for $5.00 off any Bi-Monthly box subscription!

If you'd like to see December's box contents, check here. If you came to see January's, you're in the right place!

1) Evelyn Iona Gel Eyeliner - I don't typically like cream or gel liners (more of a pen gal, myself) but this one was actually very easy to work with. It does go on somewhat sheer at first but you can build it up as dark as you like and it dries quickly enough to avoid smudging but not so fast its hard to work with.

2) Kaia Naturals Bamboo Tapioca Beads - I already know i love powder style exfoliants or cleansers so it was no surprise i enjoyed this little tub too. Its definitely gentle enough to use daily on my combo/oily skin and leaves my pores feeling tight and smooth.

3) French Girl Rose Lip Polish - Perhaps my favorite part of this months box, the sugar gently scrubs away yucky flakes while the blend of gorgeous oils hydrate and soften my lips and the surrounding area. The full size has such gorgeous packaging that i might have to grab it once i've used this baby one up!

4) S.W. Basics Cream - I think i truly got a dud on this one because although it moisturizes beautifully, the smell is just something i can't get past and i'm not usually sensitive to smells at all. I'd definitely be interested in trying their other products to see how they compare and whether or not this was just a bad one.

As with every Petit Vour (or petits filous, as Adam calls them) box, i'm always stoked to try new brands and products then, very dangerously, browse their store for more.

Its such an awesome gift for yourself or someone you know trying to adopt a more vegan or natural lifestyle! Get yours here.

Last month's Petit Vour box was beautifully curated, let me tell you more.

  1.  Kani Petal Polish - at first glance i thought this was nail related but nope, its a sweet polishing face mask. Saving this for the end of a long day of travel to slough off the yuck and hydrate my skin at the same time.
  2. Mai Couture Blush Sheets - these genius little sheets are perfect to throw in your wallet to brighten up your complexion throughout the day. You know what i'm saving these for.... travel!
  3. Zabana Essentials Glow Stick - the first thing i noticed was the delicious nectarine scent and the second was how beautifully smooth it left my skin. Perfect for summer no-makeup days or anyone who wants to add a sheen to their skin.
  4. Blissoma Deodorant - a little strange to apply at first just because the product is flat but it goes on smooth, feels nourishing and has no scent to speak of.... oh, and neither did i :)

I always love that the PV items are a little higher end and this has to be my favorite one from them yet. You can get your own Petit Vour sub box here

I'd been thinking recently about how i hadn't had any subscription boxes in a while and then as if by magic, an email from a new organic subscription service, Babe Boxx appeared.

I knew Babe Boxx were cruelty free and partnered with organic, natural and non-toxic brands but wasn't sure of their stance on being vegan. Nicole from BabeBoxx told me that of the 3 boxes they've send out, only 1 item was not vegan and the next 3 boxes they had curated were fully vegan.

Since they are a fairly new sub box, i'm sure they'd be receptive to feedback so if you are interested and find products being vegan important, definitely contact their customer service to assure you'll only get the vegan items and perhaps encourage them to commit to vegan only (they may well be intending to do this already but it doesn't hurt to ask).

I posted my Babe Boxx on Instagram and a couple of you asked me to review it so here it is!

The Babe Boxx i received was really cutely packaged and contained 6 items from various brands. There were no annoyingly tiny samples (which some sub boxes are full of, disappointingly) and it smelled like coffee and walnut cake... you'll understand why in a minute.

This cute little duo from Urban Oreganics was the first thing to catch my eye because these sizes are great to stuff my ever-ready travel bag with. While i am saving them for that, i did give them a little test just to see what they were like.

The cleansing grains are very fine so won't irritate sensitive skin types but it contains oats and green clay (along with some other goodies) that i know to be great for cleansing and soothing the skin.

I swiped a tiny dab of the facial cream on my face and was so surprised to see how far that tiny dab went. It sunk in really quickly but left my skin feeling plump and smooth, i think this would be great for anyone but especially anyone who wants to avoid signs of aging or help the appearance of those signs that might already be there.

I did take a look at their etsy store and WOW their packaging is flawless. They offer refills on items at a discounted price so you can just top up your glass bottle/jar from your previous order- genius!

Any way, they have a gorgeous selection of things and i've been eyeing up their rose water to try so that might be my next purchase.

This little facial oil has a lot more to it than expected. It felt beautiful when applied but after reading up on it, its really packed with everything nature has to offer.

They suggest it suits all skin types and promotes cellular regeneration with rosehip seed, watermelon seed and borage oils, to name a few.

I'm glad i tested this little highlighter from GIA Minerals out because its something i'd ordinarily overlook.

This is in the color aurora and is a beautiful frosty pink shade. I'd definitely recommend this to those who prefer a pink toned highlight or are looking for a pigment for the eyes in this shade.

So this is the coffee and walnut cake culprit, the "Call Me Skinny" shower scrub from Skin Food by Aubrey. This is one of the times where i truly wish there was smell-o-vision because it truly smells good enough to eat.

Its a lovely exfoliating and moisturizing scrub made with finely ground coffee beans infused in an oil blend for 12 weeks!!

I can't wait to share this in the shower with my husband because coffee and walnut is his favorite!

This Lauren Brooke Lash Strengthening Mascara is one i haven't tried out yet since i have my lash extensions still but i'm intrigued to try it eventually.

It has lots of organic ingredients in it to help protect your lashes!

Over all i'm super impressed with Babe Boxx and found a few brands i'm definitely going to look into. Beauty boxes like these are especially awesome for people trying to buy cruelty free or vegan because they introduce you to brands you might not have otherwise found!

Thanks Babe Boxx!

I seem to get a lot of questions about subscription boxes lately so i thought i'd share a great vegan one with you!

Vegan Cuts offer beauty and snack subscription boxes and also full size, discounted items!
Its a great place to get inspiration from when starting on a cruelty free crusade.

Its no secret that i do enjoy a subscription box or two and conscious box has to be one of my all-time favorites.

They have a great mix of beauty, household and food items which i genuinely enjoy every time. It takes me about 2 hours from opening the box to have gobbled all of the snacks and i usually end up purchasing at least one of the items again.

All in all its a great subscription box to get if you're feeling uninspired in beauty or foods, especially if you have dietary restrictions, it makes it such a treat!

There are gluten-free and vegan options and range from $6.95 to $19.95 per month.

If you love to discover new vegan products, you’ll love the Vegan Cuts Snack Box. This monthly subscription box will introduce you to 7-10 new vegan products each month for just $19.95 including shipping to the U.S.

Oh, just another subscription box unboxing & review.

EVOLVh Ultra Shine Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner
MUN Brightening Youth Serum
NCLA Nail Lacquer
TAY Balancing Cleanser

This definitely smells a lot like Frank scrub and leaves your skin so smooth right out of the shower, no lotion necessary.

I've not tried this yet but baby washes are great for makeup brush cleaning or just as a backup mini for your own bod!

These are super rich and buttery and left my hands really soft and hydrated.

Even more buttery than the above butters... this would be great to leave in your purse for emergency lip/ hand/ anywhere moisturizing.

A LOT more wearable than it looks, the consistency is beautiful and hydrating and it gives just a wash of color. Beautifully packaged.

Another great one to keep for emergencies, you can use this all over your face for easy livening up of dull skin!

Vegan Cuts
Petit Vour is a monthly, vegan, luxury beauty subscription box that i've been receiving for a couple of months now.
Generally i've been too excited to open it up and use everything in it but this month i exercised some restraint and took some unboxing pics for you guys.

Subscriptions are $15 a month and so far i've been really happy with it. I wasn't impressed with Birch Box when i had it but this is much more down my street; i'd rather have fewer products that are a decent sized and vegan rather than 15 tiny samples that get repeated every month.
