I've always been fond of Tarte's eyeshadows but often wished they had more of a matte selection and, at long last, my wishes have come true.
Tarte recently launched their "be MATTEnificent colored clay eye and cheek palette" comprised of 8 eyeshadows and a blush.

Available for $36 at tarte.com

The palette itself is beautifully made with a huge mirror and beautiful agate-style front. 

Tarte have chosen a cohesive range of shadows for this palette that contains everything you need for beautiful, matte eye looks.

This is a quick, neutral eye look i created with the palette.

The shadows are suitable for most skin tones but i will say the blush probably won't show up as well on those with darker skin (i'd have to try it to confirm that for sure).

I'd guess that this will be my new go-to travel palette not only for the great range of colors but for the giant, great quality mirror. I find it so annoying that some palettes have small, crappy and warped mirrors in them but this one is beautiful.

All in all i'd say for $36 this is a great palette for beginners and pros alike.
