After seeing Logical Harmony's list of vegan C.Tilb (yep, thats what her pals call her) items, i knew i needed this palette immediately.

The Sophisticate palette is available for $52 and contains 4 matte shades, making it (what i believe to be) the only entirely matte palette she's released.

The Golden Goddess and The Rebel are also vegan, you can find Logical Harmony's full list of her vegan items here!

I don't know about you guys but when i'm going to spend more on a makeup item, i like it to be something i could use daily if i wanted to (neutral shadows or natural lip shades etc), so her matte palette was the obvious choice.

Clearly, the packaging is flawless. From the mirror complete with her signature star detail to the sound the product itself makes when you close the lid... its clear that lots of attention has gone into making this a long-lasting, well-built item.

The shadows themselves are beautiful and you can create all the neutral looks from a light shimmer all the way to the smokiest of eyes with this.

The two lighter shades are a little smoother and butterier to use and the darker shades are a little more flaky or crumbly but as long as you're aware, just a tiny dab of the brush into them gives such pigmented smooth application.

I do love that they included a grey shade instead of the usual black that comes in neutral quads because i think its a little more wearable and forgiving. I know the black in any palette is usually my least used because you need such a small amount when you do use it.

The packaging and product are both beautiful and this would be an awesome palette for anyone who doesn't collect a ton of products but wants a treat (you deserve it, i'm sure) or someone who just really wants something from Charlotte Tilbury but isn't sure where to start.

I wouldn't say these eyeshadows are particularly superior to other formulas but they're pigmented, easy to work with and like i mentioned before, if i'm going to buy luxury items i want it to be something i could use for any occasion.

So if you have been eyeing up Charlotte Tilbury products, i think this would be an awesome place to start because of how usable it is.

If you want your own Sophisticate palette, you can find it here and as always, leave your opinions below if you have this or any other C.Tilb. items!

Matte eyeshadow palettes are a dime a dozen but do any others cost $10? No good ones, anyway.

I mentioned this in my August Favorites video as well as demo'd it in this video but i thought you guys might like some close ups and swatches (my version of a swatch any way since i don't have much bare skin).

As you can see a few of the colors have some fall out (the ones that appear flaked on my fingers) but they apply beautifully to the lid over OCC's John Doe Creme Concentrate.

The closest thing i can think to compare it to is the Paula's Choice Matte Nudes palette but i think i might prefer this one for the color selection and packaging (this one is plastic where as the PC one is cardboard).

I wasn't expecting to love this palette as much as i have but i've been reaching for it every day. The streamline packaging, the pigment and the perfect mix of warm, neutral & cool tones makes this the perfect palette for me.

You can find this palette here for $10!

I was blissfully unaware of the Dose of Colors Terra Collection trio until a couple of you asked me what i thought of them, after a glance i knew i NEEDED them!

I have a liquid lipstick from Dose Of Colors already that i love the consistency of and these seem like they're the same formula, too. For a matte liquid lipstick, they are surprisingly not drying and wear well throughout the day.

The pictures below are of the lipsticks without using any lip liner so you get a true idea of the color. I would probably use a liner with Brick just to crisp up the edges and with Sand to define the lip area and stop my lips blending into my face.

Brick

Sand

Stone

My favorite has to be Stone, that perfect pink/grey nude. I'd say its like a lighter version of Kat Von D's Lolita liquid lipstick so a little more complimentary for the pale people out there.

Although i don't wear reds often, i love the color of Brick and it dries like velvet. So gorgeous.

As for Sand, i'm a little undecided. I think for very pale people it would be a good nude shade or for darker tones with a lip liner but its just so close to my skintone that i feel a little odd wearing it. What i did discover is that its a great one to mix with the other shades to lighten them with or as a pop of light in the center of the lip.

Overall i love this trio, i think the shades will suit a lot of people and i love that you can custom mix them to suit your skintone/mood.

You can also check Logical Harmony's video where the beautiful Tashina tries them on. It'll give you an idea of what the colors look like on a slightly different skin tone.

I've been a fan of Butter London polishes in the past after acquiring some minis so when a lovely lady from their team emailed me to see if i'd like to try some of their vegan polishes... the answer was obvious.

Their entire Patent Shine collection is vegan as well as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide and xylene free.

Now, i'm no chemist and don't know what half of those are but i do like to go by the rule that if you can't pronounce it, you don't wanna wear or eat it.

I featured the nude color, Shop Girl, in last week's #manimonday but thought i'd do swatches for each since i know how much i rely on swatches when picking out colors. The swatch images are untouched so you get a clear idea of the true color and they're taken out of direct sunlight.

I used 2 coats of each.

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Chat Up"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Over The Moon"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Shop Girl"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Her Majesty's Red"

The formula of these isn't like any i've used before... its somewhere between a gel and polish and applies like any other regular polish.

The problem i have with non-gel polish usually is that, once dry, it becomes fragile and due to natural movement in the nail itself, they chip and peel. I had none of this with these polishes because they seemed to move with my nail and remain softer even though they were hard-wearing.

You can read a little more about the benefits of these polishes here.

So onto the fun stuff, Butter London wanted to share the love with you guys too so they sent another 2 sets of these 4 beautiful polishes for me to give away to you!

I've posted a graphic on instagram so you can "regram" to enter and the rules will all be there, too.

Let me know which your favorite color is and happy entering, lovelies!
