Packing For a Long Weekend - Top 5 Tips

Friday, February 19, 2016

Here are some of my favorite, simple ways to pack efficiently! Great for a long weekend or apply these tips to a longer trip too.

  1. Plan out each day - knowing roughly what your plans are allows you to know which outfits you need.
  2. Pick a color palette - this way no matter what your plans are, its all going to go together! I go with black, white, denim and faux leather.
  3. Bring 2 pairs of shoes - one for comfort/travel and one a little fancier. In most cases this covers all occasions.
  4. Pack miniatures, multi-purpose and solid products. This cuts down on the amount of things you bring as well as how much time it takes you to get ready.
  5. Bring a bag for your dirty laundry. For all unpacking procrastinators, this makes things easier because you can toss it all in the wash as soon as you get home.
