Review:

Correct Clicks
  • Great pigmentation and color range for a variety of shades and discoloration.
  • Texture is easy to blend but retains its pigmentation well (doesn't blend out to nothingness).
  • Yellow is beautifully brightening in key areas after foundation application as well as beneath foundation to correct mild redness.
  • Peach is great for under eye darkness, dark spots or any blue toned discoloration. Best used with the warmth of your fingers if you're not going to top it with foundation or concealer.
  • Very reasonable price for the amount in the stick, i think if you're used to pots of concealer or corrector this might seem like a small amount but its really not.

Cover Clicks
  • The usual great color range of Cover FX is reflected in this new product also.
  • Easy to blend with a kabuki or fingers to a soft satin finish.
  • I found G40 was the perfect shade and i could spot correct with it without it being detectable at all.
  • Used as a foundation and bronzer or highlighter and bronzer, these products blend beautifully to an almost airbrushed satin finish.
  • Initially, as mentioned in the video, i thought the amount of product to be surprising but ounce for ounce compared to other stick foundations, its actually very comparable.
  • Lasted well throughout the day and retained its satin/skin-like finish without breaking up or getting oily.
  • Although you might have to buy it more often than some stick foundations, i think the ease of portability and the fact you don't have to worry about using up product before its use-by date makes it well worth it.
  • Amazing for travel or touch ups through out the day. After a few more uses, i'll definitely be bringing these on trips for super easy makeup application.



Overall, i think the "Clicks" system is an awesome idea. Especially for those who are on the go a lot of just like multi-use, minimal products. 

I do think the Click Stick itself could maybe be improved upon since you can't easily have both products out at once but maybe once you're on the go and are using them, you wouldn't want both out at the same time any way? Its probably just me being picky.

  • Saving this one for travel but the reviews on PV are very positive!



Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Booster Serum

  • After using this serum twice, i'd already decided i liked it. I then realized it had hyaluronic acid in it (my favorite) so it all made sense after that.
  • This is an interesting texture for a serum and is much more of a gel consistency which felt really good being applied to the skin.

A lot of you ask for primer recommendations and i always say the same thing- "i really don't use primers"... but, as usual if you bug me about something enough i will find out the answer for you.

These two options from Pacifica are both awesome for very different reasons so lets jump in!


Rose Gold Brightening Primer Serum

 For anyone who needs hydration prior to applying makeup so mature or dry skin would love this. Also, for times when you don't want mineral powders or full coverage foundations to look too dry, cakey and powdery.

I like to apply this with a duo fibre brush all over my face, down my neck and across my collar bone for a glowy, but not greasy, finish.

Overall a great hydrating primer as well as a gorgeous dewy moisturizer for days when you don't want to wear makeup. See it in action here.




Jasmine Iris Oil Control Primer

If you want a traditional silicone-feeling primer without the pore blocking yuck- this is your new bff. It smooths skin and creates the perfect base without being overly drying. This combined with the Dreamy Cover Serum Foundation will give you china doll skin.

Even though i hate the feel of makeup on my hands, i do think this one is best applied with the fingers so you can be sure you have it exactly where you need it. The heat of your fingers seems to help work it into the skin too.

Yeah, you read that right! Lemme tell ya a little more 'bout it!

















There are many contour kits out there, especially powder ones, but do any of them even come close to the incredible price point of E.L.F.'s? Nope.

I often think more than 3 or 4 shades in a contour kit are unnecessary for the average person (not a makeup artist), so this quad's selection of colors is perfect for my tastes.

The first shade, a gorgeous eggshell color with a champagne sheen is ideal for those who want a glow without the glitter. Perfect to top cheek bones, swipe down the nose or even to highlight the eye area.

Moving onto the slightly more peach highlight shade (it reads more yellow in the picture, for some reason), i love this to set the undereye area or to blend out any crazy contour or blush i might've messed up! A great matte option that is super soft to blend.

The deeper, more taupe shade of the contour/bronze shades does appear very dark in the pan but its really easy to get a smooth application that you can't really mess up. The shade reminds me of a more matte version of the bronzer in the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Palette.

Lastly, the bronze shade definitely has some peach undertones too so its very complimentary on a lot of skin tones and really mimics a natural bronze. Easy to apply anything from the sheerest hint to a glamazon bronze!


















As far as i can tell, this palette only comes in one shade range and it would be suitable for anyone up to medium/tan shades, i think.

The mirror in the lid is perfect for application on the go because of its size and all shades work awesome as eyeshadows, too!

All shades are buttery, easy to blend and layer, and i think this palette would be perfect for n00bs and pros alike!
