I was lucky enough to get my mitts on this NCLA "You Can't Swim With Us" set at Beauty Con LA and had to share this beautiful mermaidy palette with you!

The collection is comprised of 2 glitter polishes, 2 holographic glitter polishes and one gorgeous iridescent.

All of the NCLA polishes i've tried have the same amazing formula, great brush and speedy drying time. Their products are all vegan, cruelty free, non-toxic and free from formaldehyde, DBP, toluene, formaldehyde resin and camphor.

I decided to go for "Seashell Dress" across all nails and then accent 2 with "Glistening Scales" which truly does look like gorgeous pearly scales!

What are you loving on your nails lately?

We haven't talked nails in a while, have we? So i figured it was perfect timing to introduce you to some amazing 7 free polish shades from the beauties at Pacifica.

This gorgeous little trio arrived at my door the other day and although they're not shades i'd typically gravitate towards, i ended up loving them. Not only are they shades i don't already have (from any brand) but the formula is beautiful.

I love that the brush is flat but not overly wide so its the perfect shape for my nails. 2 coats gives a gorgeous opaque color but for a more intense iridescence from Star Dust Memories, i ended up with 3 coats and LOVED it.

You can find these shades and more at Ulta for $9 each.

Midnight Rambler
A gorgeous, deep, dark purple toned blue. This would be amazing on short, neat manicures and even if you're not usually one for anything but neutrals, this one is very wearable and chic.

Super Fox
This teal is very slightly muted and jewel-toned so would be complimentary on a lot of skin tones. It has a slight iridescence to it that just comes across as a sheen from far away.

Star Dust Memories
This was the one i was most surprised at how much i liked it. Its a cool green-based muted pewter (mutey pewtey from here on out) that really doesn't show its true beauty until the second coat. The shade sort of reminded me of my eye color since no one can ever agree on whether they're green, grey or blue so i really fell in love with this one even though i wouldn't have gravitated to the shade ordinarily.

Today i'm bringing you 5 awesome vegan nail polish brands to treat yourself to a little guilt-free #manimonday

OCC - $10
I recently mentioned them in my OCC video so i won't go into too much detail here but they have awesome shades, great formula and a wonderful finish! One of my personal favorites from OCC is Pleasure Model! Its much more pink and pale than this photo from their website but you can see photos of my collection here.

NCLA - $16- $18
Not only do NCLA have awesome polishes, they have some incredible nail wraps too! I know Tashina of Logical Harmony has used them a lot so i'll link to her posts on them here. They're 5-free and have awesome brushes for a smooth application.

Pacifica - $9-$14
Pacifica do have awesome shades but my favorite is their Rainbow Gloss top coat that is beautiful alone or on top of other pastel shades for a holographic effect. They're 7 free and super easy to apply.

AKay Style - $12
I've mentioned some of these awesome colors before but thought it was worth adding them to this list. AKay Style have awesome colors, super cute packaging with a little poem to go along with each and a super easy application! 4-free and hard-wearing!

Palate Polish - $10
Nail polishes named after foods? Genius! Palate polish are 5-free and are made in small batches. The consistency is fairly thin but still opaque. I think these are awesome gift ideas especially for foodie-friends. You can find a few of my swatches and past review here.

I've been a fan of Butter London polishes in the past after acquiring some minis so when a lovely lady from their team emailed me to see if i'd like to try some of their vegan polishes... the answer was obvious.

Their entire Patent Shine collection is vegan as well as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide and xylene free.

Now, i'm no chemist and don't know what half of those are but i do like to go by the rule that if you can't pronounce it, you don't wanna wear or eat it.

I featured the nude color, Shop Girl, in last week's #manimonday but thought i'd do swatches for each since i know how much i rely on swatches when picking out colors. The swatch images are untouched so you get a clear idea of the true color and they're taken out of direct sunlight.

I used 2 coats of each.

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Chat Up"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Over The Moon"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Shop Girl"

Butter London Patent Shine 10X Lacquer in "Her Majesty's Red"

The formula of these isn't like any i've used before... its somewhere between a gel and polish and applies like any other regular polish.

The problem i have with non-gel polish usually is that, once dry, it becomes fragile and due to natural movement in the nail itself, they chip and peel. I had none of this with these polishes because they seemed to move with my nail and remain softer even though they were hard-wearing.

You can read a little more about the benefits of these polishes here.

So onto the fun stuff, Butter London wanted to share the love with you guys too so they sent another 2 sets of these 4 beautiful polishes for me to give away to you!

I've posted a graphic on instagram so you can "regram" to enter and the rules will all be there, too.

Let me know which your favorite color is and happy entering, lovelies!
