The most recent Love Goodly box was curated by Alicia Silverstone, yes, THE Alicia Silverstone! I couldn't wait to see what she picked.

For those who aren't familiar with Love Goodly, they offer a bi-monthly subscription box service offering up vegan beauty, fashion and food items as well as having a marketplace to shop from (although not everything in their store is vegan, you can search by vegan only).

Not only did this box contain one of my most favorite skin care items of all time, Osea's Atmosphere Protection Cream, but it also introduced me to a few new brands!

I immediately devoured the little truffles which were delicious and followed it up with a spritz (yep) of the B12 spray- what a genius idea!

Extra hair ties are always welcome and i'm excited to try the Zao mascara later, they're not a brand i'm familiar with but the packaging is so cute.

If you'd like to see any of my other Love Goodly posts and videos, you can find them here.

Products mentioned:

Eye treatments are something i find make SUCH a difference in my skincare routine now and i really notice when i go without one. Here are my favorites!

Osea Eye & Lips - $60
For those of you who don't like there to be a lot of residue, this one is perfect. It's light creamy texture is absorbed quickly and gets right to work filling out fine lines. I've noticed my eye area seems less fragile with prolonged use.

Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vit E Eye Balm - $49
If you've followed me online for a while, you'll be able to skip this one since you probably already know my feelings on it. This is how i got rid of stubborn seborrheic dermatitis on my eyelids (read more here) and i've stayed loyal since. I like to use this balm at night and rub it into my lashes and any residue on my brows. You can use the smallest amount in the day time, too. Its definitely improved the skin around my eyes, for SURE! This little tub will last you a LONG time, i've used this for years and i think i'm only on my second or third jar.

Blissoma Bright Eye Vitalizing Serum - $45.99
This is a weird one since its deep red in color but it blends in quickly and is great under makeup or alone. Definitely a little lighter so if you prefer serums, this one might be perfect for you! I'm not sure if its just my imagination but its color seems to work to improve the under-eye appearance right away (read more here).

Pangea Organics Eye Cream - $62
I loved the sample i had of this. It applies like a light cream but does leave a little bit of a silky texture to the skin after so you only need the tiniest amount. I think this would be a good one for people who've never used an eye cream and aren't sure where to start.

Laurel Eye Serum - $68
Again, if you prefer serums this one is awesome. Its light and you need the tiniest dab to cover the whole eye area. Great for people to use preventatively or even layered under a balm if you need a little more of a boost!

Note: i later realized the Laurel Eye Balm sample did have beeswax in it :(

Also worth a mention: Crispy Brow Magic Oil - $13
I've travelled with this oil to use as a makeup remover and, in a bind, used it as an eye oil when i've forgotten an eye cream. Its light and gentle enough that it worked well for the night!

I hope this gave you guys some ideas! Leave any of your own favorites below!

Growing up on the little island of Britain, there wasn't a year of my life where i didn't find myself in the ocean at least once.
I always loved the salt water taste on my skin on the way home, the crunchy waves in my hair (until it came to brushing it), exploring in rock pools and wondering how the ocean could be so rough yet hold me buoyant in the gentlest of ways.

Dorset, UK

Now, living on a lake, i still love the water but every year i experience the slight disappointment of getting a wave to the face and not tasting that familiar salt.

That disappointment soon dissipates as soon as i meet someone who has never seen the ocean and quickly turns into excitement at the thought of someone experiencing it for the first time.

I think its this familiarity and sense of home with the ocean that made me fall in love with Osea as a brand, not only for their incredible products but the story behind it,

"Osea is the story of four generations of women who fell in love with the sea." (read more here)

So when i heard that Osea was doing something incredible for World Ocean's Day, i had to share it with you guys.

Bora Bora

Until midnight tonight (Monday), Osea are donating 20% of all sales to Mission Blue, an amazing organization that works to protect our oceans and increase protected areas by 20% by 2020!

Cannon Beach, Oregon

So if you've seen any of my previous Osea mentions or were waiting for a the perfect time to try something, today might be the day to do something nice for yourself and the planet.

If theres one product i'd suggest trying its their Atmosphere Protection Cream. Its probably one of the only skincare items that i'd had drastic, long lasting results from (OLO eye balm is the other). Its lightweight but totally hydrating without blocking any pores. Its one of the only full size products i travel with purely because i can't go without it.

They have great starter kits if you're not sure what else to try, too.

Hastings, UK

This has been a little bit of a weird post but its not often a company you love does something so awesome so i had to share!

The oceans are beautiful and largely unexplored, lets not deprive future generations of its wonder.

I received some goodies to try from Osea after stalking them on Instagram and figured i'd share my thoughts on my favorite items from their range.

Osea are a family business dedicated to producing ingredient-conscious skincare full of the goodness of the ocean. Read more about their awesome story here.

One thing i feel all the products have in common is that they balance your skin. They don't target only one issue, but strengthen your skin as a whole.

You can definitely tell they have an element of the ocean in these products, whether its the detoxifying effects of mineral salts or the renewing effects of algae's from around the world; they have something to offer everyone.

Ocean Cleanser
Left my skin feeling citrusy-fresh and balanced.

This cleanser is full of vitamins and minerals aimed to remove impurities (and makeup!) and balance your skin.

I found this especially awesome because i didn't feel i needed to immediately slather on moisturizer as some cleansers can leave my skin uncomfortably tight.

If you don't think this cleanser would be right for you, they have three, each with different properties depending on your cleansing needs.

Red Algae Mask
All the benefits of a clay mask, without the drying effects.

As someone with combination skin, it can be tricky to treat the oily areas without drying out the normal-dry bits. This mask is perfect for that because it not only draws out all the nasties and tightens pores but balances your skin's natural moisture barrier too. The best of both worlds!

Great for use on the oily t-zone area, especially around the nose because it also reduces the appearance of broken capillaries which most of us have, to some degree, in that area.

Sea Vitamin Boost
Super-soothing and anti-oxidant rich.

I did feature this before in my facial mist post so i won't go into too much more detail but this is another great for extreme weather.

Perfect for dry or sun-damaged skin yet still great on normal or oily skin types.

Eyes & Lips
A multi-tasking power house.

Osea really have a stand-out product here as far as i'm concerned. Eyes and lips are both delicate areas that can be the first to show signs of dehydration or aging; so why not create a product to treat both?

This cream doesn't leave any residue but it's effects are long-lasting, because of this it makes the perfect eye cream for makeup wearers.

It contains antioxidants and amino acids to stimulate collagen production and strengthen those delicate, dermal connective tissues.

Atmosphere Protection Cream
Instant absorbing, environmental protection.

As someone who travels a lot and lives through some pretty extreme winters, this is my new best friend.
Most super-nourishing, protective moisturizers leave a lot of greasy residue on my skin which isn't the best for an already grease-prone skin type who likes to wear makeup. Somehow this cream is absorbed fast and leaves no residue, yet still protects my skin throughout the day. It also makes a great base for makeup application.

It contains seaweed for its emollient properties and vitamin E to boost collagen and increase elasticity so you can bounce back from that long-haul flight faster.
