OTP: Eye Care

I've had the idea to create a list of product OTPs for a while now and finally got around to doing it.
In this series you'll find my ultimate pairings in the realms of makeup, skincare and perhaps more...

What better way to kick off a new blog series than to feature what might be my ultimate pairing.

If you've followed me for a while, you've probably seen me mention one half of this duo at least a billion times, but this combo just takes it to the next level.

The Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vit E Eye Balm is a total must-have for me and cured my Seborrheic Dermatitis (read about it here), so i literally can't be without it. Combined with the Clarisonic Opal, it amps up the effectiveness of the product and makes for a lovely, relaxing, gentle eye massage to get that lymph and yuck moving and help with the absorption of the product.

As with anything from Clarisonic, the Opal isn't cheap by any means, so if you're not someone who can stick to a skincare routine... its not for you. If you think you can stick to it and your concerns are fine lines, dehydration or wrinkle prevention around the eyes, then by all means- treat yo' self.

I use this duo every night and start by applying a decent amount of the eye balm to my under eye area and then massaging it in gently to the entire eye area with the Opal (it turns itself off after 30 seconds of vibration), then move on to the next eye.

Anything left on the Opal, i work into my lips which also works in the same way to help absorption.

I've also read that you can use the opal with spot treatment on blemishes but make sure to clean the nib thoroughly before and after.

You can find the eye balm here.
And the Opal here.
